TAI’s Andrew Puccini Becomes Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois

Jul 01, 2022

On behalf of the entire TAI team, we are excited and honored to acknowledge Andrew Puccini, P.E. for his accomplishments this year. In May he passed the Environmental PE and became a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois.  Prior to coming to work for Trotter and Associates, Inc. Andrew had four years’ experience as a construction inspector and two years’ experience working in a project management capacity for a construction contractor.

Over this past year Andrew has worked on the Village of Fox Lake – Phase 2 Interconnect Construction which included the construction of a 2.0 MGD lift station, installation of 2,200 feet of 10” force main, 7,900 feet of 24” sanitary sewer, and 10,000 feet of 16” water main. Approximately 1,500 feet of the water and sewer installation was completed through wetlands and another 400 LF was constructed through a pond which was dewatered to allow for the utilities to be installed by means of open cutting. Andrew performed daily field observations and prepared weekly field reports for the Village of Fox Lake. In addition to the field work, Mr. Puccini held weekly construction meetings, reviewed project submittals, prepared change order documents, reviewed payment applications, and completed other construction administration duties.

Andrew also worked as the construction engineer that oversaw concrete construction (sidewalk, driveway, curb, and gutter), asphalt sub-base evaluations, asphalt resurfacing, curb underdrain installation and new inlet construction. He performed concrete/asphalt storm drainage evaluations for proposed construction designs, GPS surveying for new storm structure as-built drawings and final construction evaluations for contractor punch list items.

Andrew has become an integral part of our engineering team and TAI congratulates him on his accomplishments.
