Trotter and Associates is excited to welcome Sarah Dzieza as a summer intern. Sarah is a junior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Sarah’s concentration is structural engineering. At UIUC, Sarah has especially enjoyed working with TAM sequences calculating the stress related to different systems of beams and structures. She is also interested in gaining experience on the construction management side of civil engineering including what it takes to complete the construction of a project efficiently, such as cost estimates, scheduling, and project management.

Sarah previously interned for IDOT to gain hands-on experience in transportation engineering. Sarah is looking forward to TAI’s Summer Internship Program as she will be working one on one with Terry Heitkamp, P.E. allowing her to continue to enhance her communication and collaboration skills while gaining valuable experience in project construction.
