Trevor was one of our 2023 Summer Interns, where he worked under one of our Project Managers, Aaron Berry, P.E. While interning at TAI, he completed the following:

• Conducted daily site visits to wastewater treatment plants for construction observation, concrete, rebar, and site inspection, and documentation of daily site activity.
• Attended weekly construction meetings with clients, contractors/subcontractors and wrote reports on upcoming tentative construction schedules discussed in meetings.
• Reviewed certified payroll, payment applications, and lien waivers for monthly payment application submittals.
• Tabulated information on equipment used at various wastewater treatment facilities to estimate replacement dates, costs, and equipment conditions for forming new Facility Plans.
• Drafted and formatted specifications for engineering projects

Trevor is from Batavia, Illinois, and in December of 2023, he received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Trevor’s academic focus was on Transportation Engineering and Construction Engineering/Management, where he served as a Project Team Member involved in designing a new intersection for the township of New Lenox. Trevor’s passion extends beyond academics, as he actively participates in Division 1 UIC Track and Field. He was the UIC Track Captain and has earned a spot in the UIC Track Top 10 All-Time records for Indoor & Outdoor 400m, Indoor and Outdoor 200m, and Indoor 300m events.
