Earlier this month, Scott Trotter, P.E., BCEE, president of Trotter and Associates, Inc. (TAI), a University of Illinois alumnus, spoke to students in the CEE 498 Construction Equipment and Methods course. As an advanced elective, CEE 498 provides students with a comprehensive overview of modern engineering techniques and their applications.

Scott brings over three decades of experience to the classroom, bridging the gap between academic theory and field-tested solutions. The following week, TAI took part in the CEE Fall Career Fair and is now interviewing top candidates for summer internships and full-time positions in 2026.
