Madeline Tiedt joined Trotter and Associates, Inc. in January as a full-time Staff Engineer working with the Civil Team in the St. Charles office. Madeline, a Purdue University graduate in Environmental and Natural Resource Engineering, brings experience in environmental site assessments, field sampling, hydrologic modeling, and watershed analysis. Her academic work included international projects focused on sustainable agricultural systems, and she served as a mentor in Purdue’s Women in Engineering organization. We’re proud that Madeline is building her career at TAI and contributing to the firm’s growing Civil Team!
Erika Salisbury returns to Trotter and Associates, Inc. as a full-time staff engineer in our St. Charles, IL office. After interning with TAI’s Water/Wastewater Team last summer — where she assisted with force main profiles, IL EPA permit submittals, and construction specification updates — Erika earned her Environmental and Ecological Engineering degree from Purdue University. In September, just before graduation, she passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, earning her Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification. It is no surprise that Erika has already re-engaged in active projects, bringing both continuity and technical discipline to the team. We are proud to welcome her back to TAI, where she will advance her career while supporting our projects and valued clients.
After two internships with TAI, Annette Winterland joined the firm full-time following her graduation from Purdue University with a degree in Environmental and Ecological Engineering. While in college, Annette was active in Engineers Without Borders and in WEFTEC student programs and competitions. Upon graduation, she earned her Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) designation, marking an early milestone in her professional development! With prior project and field experience at TAI, Annette has seamlessly transitioned into her role, bringing familiarity and strong momentum! We are delighted she is back and with us full-time!

Megan brings extensive experience in electrical engineering for civil and municipal infrastructure projects, further strengthening TAI’s electrical design capabilities. A graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, she holds P.E. licensure in multiple states, is active in and has served in leadership roles with IEEE–Chicago, and contributes to the profession through publications and technical presentations. Megan complements our established expertise and will enhance the depth and resources we bring to our clients. Please join us in welcoming her to the team!
