Welcome back to Morgan McDonough, E.I.T., who recently joined the Water/Wastewater team as a Staff Engineer following her 2025 internship with the firm. During that internship, Morgan contributed across all project phases, gaining firsthand experience on project sites and connecting engineering work with the field conditions and decisions that shape it. The internship strengthened her skill set, and she returned with an understanding of the team’s work, allowing her to contribute from the start. Morgan brings environmental research and laboratory experience, communication skills developed through student leadership, and a dedicated work ethic to the team’s work on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. She arrived on day one ready for the work ahead!

Judson Levi earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and brings experience in wastewater treatment construction and mechanical design. He has seen how projects move from design to the jobsite and what it takes to make them work in the field. Judson joined us as an intern last summer and returned this year as a full-time Staff Engineer, E.I.T., in our St. Charles office. It’s good to have you back, Judson. We’re proud you chose to build your career at Trotter.
Our 2026 Open House brought together clients, partners, contractors, and the Trotter Team for an evening of exceptional food, "curated” bourbon tastings, and live music from Back Country Roads! The Bourbon Trail may be behind us, but you will like where we are headed next year! We are trading bluegrass for sunshine, so keep your eyes open and your glasses ready. The clues are just the beginning. We appreciate everyone who joined us. Looking forward to 2027!
Samantha Johnson has joined Trotter and Associates, Inc. as a Staff Engineer on our Water/Wastewater Team. A former intern in our Lake Geneva office, Sam returns to Trotter with both her bachelor's and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). Her experience in engineering design, active construction projects, and field operations has given her a broad perspective across multiple disciplines—one she'll continue to build on at Trotter. We're proud to welcome Sam back to the team. As our firm continues to grow, she's already playing an important role in supporting the projects and clients that define our work.
