Trotter and Associates, Inc. (TAI) is growing our team! We are a full-service civil engineering firm structured to meet the growing needs of our municipal clients with offices in St. Charles IL, Fox Lake IL, and Lake Geneva WI. TAI’s staff has the experience to resolve the complex issues brought on by increased development, a changing regulatory environment and aging infrastructure. We also are heavily involved in professional organizations and are very supportive of our engineers’ professional goals and development. TAI currently serves Northeastern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Our staff live within the communities which we serve.

Scott Trotter and Jillian Kiss of Trotter and Associates, Inc. will be recruiting at the CEE job fair Thursday, September 22, 2022. The Job Fair will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will be held in the Illini Union Ballroom. TAI will also be attending the Networking Night on Wednesday evening from 6:00pm - 9:00pm in the NCSA Auditorium and Lobby.

TAI is seeking individuals that can make an immediate impact with the team and will have the opportunity to become leaders as we continue to expand. We strive to hire 3-4 new grads from top Universities. TAI’s staff engineers are mentored by one of the firm’s project managers and given an opportunity to make an impact.

Additionally, we typically hire 3-5 interns and utilize the internship program as a recruiting tool to identify future leaders within the company. TAI’s interns work directly with our experienced professionals and are provided practical experience to help advance their careers. Interns typically assist in engineering studies, provide support with ongoing designs, receive training with respect to topographic surveys and perform construction observation. TAI hopes that these young professionals will gain a greater understanding of the field in which they aspire to work in through our outstanding internship program.
