Jun 27, 2022

On behalf of the entire TAI team, we are excited and honored to acknowledge Cody Hansen, P.E. for his accomplishments this year. In May, Cody passed the Environmental PE and became a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois!

Cody is currently working on the following projects:

  • 2021 Riverside Lift Station Replacement – City of St. Charles
  • Cody assisted in the design and bidding phases for this lift station replacement project for the City of St. Charles. The project includes the construction of a new Riverside Lift Station along Devereaux Way with dual wet wells, submersible pumps, raw sewage screens, and odor control systems. It also includes removal of the existing lift station along the Fox River, and replacement of an outfall pipe from the City’s Main WWTF across IL Route 25 and into the Fox River, installation of permanent collection system flow monitoring structures upstream of the new lift station, and relocation of historical monuments. He is also assisting in the shop drawing review process and is the resident engineer for this project.

  • Phase IIA Rehabilitation Project – City of Batavia
  • Cody is assisting in the design for the Phase IIA rehabilitation for the City of Batavia’s wastewater treatment facility. He is designing proposed Headworks facility that will contain new raw sewage screens, grit removal equipment, odor control capabilities, and primary sludge pumps. He is also designing three submersible pump stations and the primary sludge pump station, and has performed calculations for the hydraulics through the plant to ensure the plant can handle future flows through the proposed facilities and equipment.

  • Darrell Road Collection System Phase IA Headworks – Northern Moraine Wastewater Reclamation District
  • Cody is currently assisting in the design phase for the Darrell Road Collection System Phase IA Headworks project. The project includes construction of two new concrete screening channels and the installation of new bar screens and washer-compactor equipment. The project also include modifications to the influent gravity sewer to reroute it to the proposed Headworks. Cody has performed hydraulic calculations through the screening process and has assisted with the selection and layout of equipment to meet the Client’s needs.

Congratulations Cody!
