TAI’s Aaron Berry Promoted to Director of Business Operations

Trotter and Associates, Inc. is excited to announce the promotion of Aaron Berry, P.E., to Director of Business Operations. During the firms’ 2023 Strategic Planning Meeting, the leadership team designed an organizational structure which will support the firm’s advancement to over 100 team members. The DBO is a critical role and has corporate responsibility for overseeing the firms’ financials, vendor contractual obligations, staffing, as well as optimizing all available resources.


As we celebrate Trotter’s 25th anniversary, Aaron's 17 years of experience with the firm brings a wealth of knowledge about our operations, vision, and values. He joined the firm as an intern, and has worked as a staff engineer, project engineer, and project manager for some of our cornerstone water/wastewater projects. Aaron's engineering degree, MBA, and experience make him perfect for this pivotal role in the company’s evolution.



In addition to his work with TAI, Aaron has become a recognized leader in local and national organizations dedicated to the water quality industry. While Aaron has held many positions within these organizations, he currently serves as the Chair of the Water Environment Federation (WEF)'s WEFTEC Advisory Committee.


Throughout his career, Aaron has been involved with projects, maintaining existing client relationships, engaging prospective clients, and supporting the firm's growth. Trotter and Associates’ 2019 Strategic Plan included the future leaders of the firm, Jerry Ruth, Chris Marschinke, and Aaron Berry. Aaron became a principal in 2021 and is well-positioned to help lead our strategic efforts dedicated to supporting TAI’s critical objectives: Nurturing External Relationships, Enhancing the Expertise of the Team, and Guaranteeing Operational Stability.
