Giulia is also getting a minor in International Engineering in Japanese Studies. She studied abroad in Nagoya, Japan her sophomore year and was able to see different civil engineering priorities as well as learn more about and experience Japanese culture.

At UIUC, Giulia is very involved in the exchange student program, where she helps new exchange students adapt to student life in the U.S. She is also a member of the UIUC cycling & swim club. During her internship with TAI this summer, she is most looking forward to learning about Illinois EPA loan requests and working alongside Elizabeth Heise, P.E. to gain hands-on experience in the office as well as the field.
