This past year, in response to client needs and growing demand, Trotter and Associates, Inc. launched an effort to develop an elite team of structural, electrical and mechanical engineers and architects. With expanded services and expertise, Trotter and Associates will offer complete A&E services for a full range of municipal project types. To help us reach this goal, Trotter and Associates is pleased to welcome Mark Van Denend as Senior Architect. Mark is a suburban Chicago native, with a Master of Architecture and over 20 years’ experience in architecture. He has provided design and construction administration services for a broad range of commercial projects including public and private schools, public services administration buildings, manufacturing facilities, fire stations, churches and museums. Mark is passionate about using architecture to strengthen communities, as well as incorporating in-the-field experience with planning and design. He has served as an architectural consultant for humanitarian organizations in developing countries, an adjunct university professor of design fundamentals, and participated in disaster relief efforts in the US and abroad.
