TAI completed Plans Specifications and Estimates (PS&E’s) and construction observation for the relocation of 3.5 miles of water main and 1.5 miles of sanitary forcemain in Homer Glen in preparation for the widening and improvement of 159th Street from Cedar Road to Will Cook Road in Homer Glen, IL. Crossings at Cedar Road and Bell Road were bored and jacked using TR FLEX pipe. Pipe installed included PVC and ductile iron.

Due to the number of utilities in the right-of-way and the continuous changes to the plans made by IDOT, modifications in the field were numerous. Bi-weekly meetings with the contractor, design engineers, Illinois American and construction engineers anticipated issues, proposed solutions and received concurrence from IDOT in a timely manner to maintain schedule and budget.
