Last summer, Sam Severson participated in Trotter and Associates, Inc.’s internship program. In January, he came back as a full-time Staff Engineer.



A graduate of UW–Platteville, Sam passed the FE exam and earned his Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) designation — an important professional milestone early in his engineering career. Through several internships, including at WisDOT’s Railroad Division and here at TAI, he gained valuable hands-on experience supporting roadway and infrastructure projects, construction observation, underground utilities, and field coordination.

We’re proud to see strong internship experiences develop into meaningful careers at TAI — and we’re confident Sam is just getting started. Join us in officially welcoming this great addition to the TAI Team!
