Trotter & Associates, Inc. (TAI) is pleased to help the City of North Chicago secure $7 million in state funding through IDOT’s Local Project Funding (LPF) program for the Argonne Drive Reconstruction Project. This marks a major milestone for the $18.3 million transportation initiative.



This new funding builds on previously secured federal funds, reducing the City’s local share and ensuring this important project moves forward. TAI continues to support North Chicago in strategic funding efforts, project delivery, and infrastructure modernization that promote safety, equity, and community connectivity.

Civiltech Engineering, Inc. completed the design engineering for the Argonne Drive project, with the following planned improvements:

• Buffered bike lanes & ADA-compliant sidewalks
• Traffic safety and lighting enhancements
• Storm sewer and infrastructure upgrades
