Chris Marschinke P.E. Named CSWEA 2019 Young Professional of the Year

Chris Marschinke P.E. earned his civil engineering degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and is a strong member of Trotter and Associates’ Water/Wastewater Division.  He was named the 2019 CSWEA Young Professional of the Year at the recent 92nd Annual Meeting.

Chris was also inducted as a member of the “Sentral States Select Society of Sanitary Sludge Shovelers” a group recognizing those who put forth distinguished and meritorious service for the CSWEA.

His commitment to professionalism and encouraging the next generation of professionals is second to none.  Chris has made it a priority to be involved in local and national organizations and is currently serving as the Central States Water Environment Association (CSWEA) – Illinois Section Chair and Students Committee Past-Chair, the Water Environment Federation (WEF) – Student & Young Professionals Service Project Past-Chair and the Kane County Water Association (KCWA) – President.
