Trotter and Associates, Inc. welcomes Cade Sundstedt as one of the newest members of our Civil Engineering team. He comes to us with seven years of hands-on civil engineering and construction management experience, a B.S. in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa, and a B.S.in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.

Before coming to TAI, Cade designed projects in MicroStation, created spec books and bidding proposals by estimating material quantities and costs. He participated in planning and supervising the construction of roads, sewers, water mains, streetscapes, and municipal projects throughout the Chicagoland area. Cade’s work in land development consisted of creating project budgets, directing mass earth moving activities, and installation of infrastructure for new housing communities, taking raw pieces of land and transforming them into residential neighborhoods. He has worked closely with local municipalities, counties, state and federal agencies throughout each project lifecycle from proposal to punch-out, including overseeing the implementation of Army Corps of Engineers Wetland and Waters of the US BMPs.

Cade’s expansive project management experience demonstrating his ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously and relationships with local contractors and municipalities will lend itself well to our clients. Trotter and Associates, Inc. is excited to have Cade join our team and is looking forward to introducing him to our clients.
