TAI Volunteers for Feed My Starving Children

Nov 17, 2017

On Friday, November 10th, TAI employees spent their morning volunteering for the organization Feed My Starving Children.  Founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit that provides nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for malnourished children.  Jillian Kiss and Tom Cichowski worked at the packing station, measuring out the five ingredients; rice, soy, vitamins, vegetables and hope.  While Steve Cieslica and Ben Steele acted as “runners,” refilling stations with needed materials and delivering completed boxes to weigh stations.  In all, the volunteers packed 369 boxes during their shift, or the equivalent of 13,284 meals.  This will be able to feed 218 children each for an entire year!
