Trotter and Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that the City of Harvard has been selected to receive $2,000,000 (the maximum amount granted to any one project) for their Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements Program as part of the Fast-Track Capital Grant.  The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) awarded $24.8 million in capital grants for 17 construction projects.

The Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements will include rehabilitation of the raw sewage pump station and screening, rehabilitation of the grit removal system, rehabilitation of the primary effluent pump station, construction of a three-ring oxidation ditch, construction of a MLSS diversion structure, construction of two tertiary clarifiers, construction of a RAS/WAS pump station, rehabilitation of the existing primary sludge pump station, replacement of the lid and roofing system for the anaerobic digestion complex, rehabilitation of an existing structure to serve as the facilities Lab and Administration building, construction of a Sludge Storage Barn, and construction of a Sludge Handling Building.
