The Village of Fox Lake received grant funding from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to assist with the renovation of the Lakefront Park Building and Grounds. The improvements are anticipated to increase the recreational activities and the overall utilization of the facility.

The proposed site improvements consisted of extending a water main to the building for domestic and fire supply, reworking the parking lot for better traffic flow, constructing a splash pad and landscape restoration work. Exterior building improvements consist of new windows and doors, siding and roofing. In addition, the interior improvements consisted of installing an elevator, sports flooring, bathrooms in the locker rooms, fire protection system (sprinklers), HVAC and lighting improvements.

The TAI assisted the Village with design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration services.
